"LEXtras II" coming soon...
Decided to drop another project being that I have some much in store for the near future. I was going to drop it towards the end of the year, but after the directer of the webseries I'm in decided on Nov. 4th as the season premiere, I decided to just tie everything together and cross promo. "LEXtras II" should be dropping around Halloween '16.
For those who don’t know:
The “LEXtraterrestrial” series are my actually albums, but then I also have the “LEXtras” series which is an EP/amalgamation of music that didn’t make the album. The EP consist of a mix of old and new music of mine.
"5am In King's County" video coming soon.
Look out for the video which is coming soon. I actually shot the original in February, but decided I would like to add addition footage to it. So that should be coming soon. In the meantime, enjoy this shot from the video shoot.
In the meantime, enjoy this random In-Car performance of the track. This was originally recorded last year around this time. Ryteous and I was headed out to The Million Man March 20th Anniversary in DC. While passing through Jersey we were just bumping random music of our and our peoples(as always), and I just decided to start recording. At the time of the original recording I rapped over the track in the car and then uploaded some of it via Instagram. Well here we are about a year later and I decided to just add the track to it and upload it. Posted it as a #ThrowbackThursday post originally, but it's a prelude to "LEXtras II" now which should be dropping by Halloween. Enjoy!

A-LEX-ANDER THE GREAT "I'ma Ride" / "I'm So Action" (Video)
I actually wasn’t gunna promo anything else off of this joint because most of the joints on that project were released/heard a long time ago, but I figured hey, it’s all about branding A-LEX-ANDER THE GREAT, not a specific project I released, right? Some of y’all haven’t heard either one of these songs nor the other 4 on the project so… Enjoy. Now you have a visual for them both. Hope ya’ll like.

"Swords Up! Anthem"
CLICK HERE FOR FREE DOWNLOAD OF THIS SONG
This joint right here is one of my favorites! It was produced by Daniel Benzino (same cat that produced "C'mon!"). I'll take credit as Co-producer tho, because I had to make such a heavy amount of editing for it to come out as what you hear. I like this joint because it has so many different feels to it... It got that South feel do to the chopped & screwed portion of the hook. Yet, I flip the flow midway between both verses from East Coast to Midwest flow (listen to understand what I mean). Just figured I'll do something different because this element was missing from the project @ the time while cooking up "LEXtraterrestrial II: LEXtended Play" (http://tinyurl.com/LEXtraterrestrial). Well, hope you enjoy...

"So Attached"
"So Attached" by A-LEX-ANDER THE GREAT
This track (beat) was actually giving to me in like '07 or '08 I can't even remember. It was produced by Mz DQ. I always loved it, but never wrote anything to it until about 2009-10. This is a dope love song. In the days of every song about ladies being all about "Poppin' it and bussing it open", a nigga like me still like writing something smooth for the ladies so... Enjoy!

"Take Off!"
A-LEX-ANDER THE GREAT "Take off!" from A-LEX-ANDER THE GREAT Click here for FREE download.
This is the lead single off of the "LEXtraterrestrial II..." project. Produced by Nick "Hoodfamous" Lalli (for Hoodfamous Productions), this track was given to me mid-2010. I loved the beat so much that I pretty much started writing immediately. I finished it and sat on it until now. This track def brings it's own energy to the table, and when blended with the bars of a dope emcee such as myself, it's bound to have am LEXplosive result... Enjoy!
